Dr. med Fairouz El-Hammar Vergnes has been an anesthesiologist at the Bordeaux University Hospital in France since 1993. The difficulties of her profession led her to a different approach through meditation and compassion. As an MBSR and MBCL teacher who trained with the IMA she has participated in the creation, beginning in 2018, of a meditation and hypnosis unit at the Bordeaux University Hospital, dedicated to the staff and patients. Currently she is fully engaged in teaching MBSR and MBCL in this unit.
